💡 If you've never used Notion, you'll notice that it's an all-in-one workspace for your notes, tasks, and more. The following page highlights some of the main functionality of this platform. If you are looking for additional resources on how Notion works, check out Notion's own resource here.

Creating Content Blocks
- Notion allows you to create or insert different types of content, whether that be text, lists, images, or other media.
- All of this can be accessed by hovering over the left-hand side of an empty line in order to access the "+" menu.

- Hover over left-hand side of a line to reveal the "+" menu.

- Scroll through the menu to add the type of content that you'd like to add, whether that be text, images, links, lists, or sub-pages.
Updating Content Blocks
- To further organize your content, you can turn any content block into another type of content block using the 6 dots that become available when hovering on the left-hand side of a line.
- Select "Turn Into" and select a dn
- If you'd like to further organize your content, you can add a "page" content block to turn your content into a seperate sidepage or you can use organization blocks

- Hover over the left hand side of a filled-in line. You will see 6 dots that will open up the following sub-menu.

- Within the sub-menu, you can choose to turn your existing content (such as text) into a different format (such as a heading, a sub-page, a link, and more).
Using Databases
- One of the most powerful features of Notion is that you can create a database. The main view of this database is as a table, which functions similar to an excel spreadsheet or google sheets.
- However, the power of Notion's database function is that you can also see the same content in other arrangement. Both the Kan Ban Board view, Timeline View, and Calendar views are particularly helpful when it comes to managing and keeping track of a project.

- The sub-menu allows you to choose a type of database view, including tables, boards, lists, timelines and more.

- Once you have selected a view (such as Table view), you are able to see the same data in multiple ways by hovering over "+ Add a View" to the right of the title.
